Who these terms are with
The legal entity, and a plain statement that using the site or the membership means accepting these terms.
Accounts
Who may hold one, that credentials are theirs to protect, and when you may suspend or close an account. Salon and spa team accounts need their own paragraph: say who the account holder is, what an owner can see about their team, and what happens to a team member’s access when they leave.
Membership, billing and renewal
Price, what a term covers, when it renews, how much notice of a price change, and what happens on a failed payment. If you sell a twelve month membership, say plainly whether it renews automatically. Several states require specific disclosure and an easy cancel path for anything that auto-renews.
Cancellation and refunds
Your actual policy, including how someone cancels and whether any part is refundable. Consumers in the EU and UK have statutory cancellation rights that cannot be written away.
Acceptable use
What members must not do, including sharing logins, reselling the material, or how they must behave in the community spaces.
Our content, and yours
You own the course material, workbooks and tools, and members get a limited personal licence. Separately, say what licence you get to anything a member posts or submits, including testimonials and photographs.
What we do not promise
This matters more than usual for you. The Vitality Project sits close to mental health and wellbeing, so this section should say clearly that the programme is education and support, not medical, psychological or therapeutic care, and is not a substitute for professional treatment. Nor is it a promise of any business result. Have your lawyer write this one properly.
